Das Blue Secret beherrscht alle Facetten an Sounds, angefangen von einem Clean Boost bis hin zu einem ultra High Gain Lead Ton.Der Charakter des Instrumentes bleibt dabei jederzeit erhalten und es reagiert sehr sensibel auf alle Spieltechniken.
Das Pedal klingt grundsätzlich voll und rund mit viel Obertönen und Edge, jedoch niemals schrill oder kratzig.Es arbeitet hervorragend mit jeder Art von Gitarre und vor jedem Verstärker.Auch in den höchsten Gain Settings bleibt es klar und offen bei einem sensationellen Nebengeräusch-Verhalten. Rauschen oder Brummen ist quasi nicht wahrnehmbar.
Die „Light“ Seite des Pedals liefert alles von Clean bis zu einem voll gesättigtem Rock Sound.Immer rund und klar bildet das Pedal hier das volle Frequenzspektrum der Gitarre ab. Der Klang ist offen mit viel Obertönen und sehr sensibel und schnell in der Reaktion auf das eigene Spiel.
Die „Heavy“ Seite vom Blue Secret beherrscht dann alles von beinahe Clean bis hin zur Grenze des Machbaren in Sachen High Gain.Der Sound ist generell spielunterstützend, bildet jedoch jede kleinste Bewegung der Finger klar ab und wird nie matschig oder muffig. Er ist groß, amplike und immer offen und rund. Dabei verliert er nie an Klarheit.Ein drei Positions-Kippschalter (loose, normal, tight) erlaubt den Höhen- und Bassgehalt der ersten Verstärkungsstufe auf die jeweiligen Tonabnehmer und den eingestellten Verzerrungsgrad anzupassen.Das Pedal ist voll analog und True Bypass.Um einen Einschaltknacks zu verhindern besitzt es ein besonderes Feature: Nach dem Einschalten blendet sich der Effekt innerhalb weniger Millisekunden ein. Eine Art „auto fade in“.
Das Blue Secret arbeitet vor jedem Gitarren Verstärker und liefert Sounds von SRV über Landau bis hin zu Lukather und vor allem in Sachen High Gain noch viel mehr.Entwicklung und Bau des Gerätes haben viele Jahre in Anspruch genommen. Probier es aus und du wirst deine Gitarre nicht mehr beiseite legen können.
Es läuft mit einer 9 Volt Batterie oder einem gängigen 9 V Netzgerät (Boss Standart, 9V reguliert, Minus Pool am Center Pin, 2,1mm Stecker)
The blue secret is able to deliver anything from a clean boost to ultra high gain overdrive and distortion sounds.It will always preserve the character of your instrument and is very sensitive to your playing technique.The pedal’s sound is full and rich with lots of overtones and edge but never harsh or shrill. It will work with any kind of guitar and in front of every amplifier.Even on highest gain settings it will stay clear and open and has an incredible low noise floor. Actually there’s hardly any hiss audible.The “light” side of the pedal will take you from clean to well saturated rock sound. The sound is always round and clear and will display the full spectrum of the guitar.It sounds open with lots of clarity and is very touch sensitive and reacts quick.The “heavy” side of the pedal will take you from a slight crunch (or nearly clean) to the limits of high gain distortion.Though being very supportive to the player it will picture any suttle move off your fingers and never get mushy or muddy. The sound is big, heavy and amp like and always open and rich. A three positions toggle switch (tight, normal, loose) allows you to set the amount of treble and bass produced by the first gain stage according to your pickups and the dialed in gain setting.The pedal is all analog and true bypass. To prevent from pop noise when switched on it features an amazing “fade in” effect on both sides of a few milliseconds length. This device will work in front of any amplifier and delivers sounds reaching from SRV to Landau up to Lukather and further. The development of this circuit took many years. Try it out and you won’t be able to stop playing your guitar any more. The Blue Secret runs on a 9V battery (you’ll have to unscrew the bottom plate to change the battery) or a power supply (recommended). Please use only regulated 9V DC adapters with a 2.1mm jack and negative center pin (standard in BOSS and most other guitar pedals).
